QR8004 is a non-reactive matting agent that is wax-free and specially designed for use in mixed powder coatings. This product can provide about 3-60% gloss, while achieving excellent leveling, finer surface, excellent mechanical properties and outstanding secondary extrusion gloss stability, as well as good anti-yellowing performance.

l This product is preferred to be used in 50/50 mixed powder coatings, providing a low gloss of about 3%, with good smooth and fine surface, excellent mechanical properties

l If the formulation is selected with fast-curing polyester resin, the low-temperature curing can be achieved at about 160 °c /25min or 170 °c /15min

l Excellent over - baking gloss stability, suitable for occasions requiring good anti - yellowing

l Do not affect the secondary coating and transfer performance of the coating surface to eliminate the problem of fingerprints

l With a wide range of polyester applicability and wide range of baking, suitable for any mixed system of powder coating, black and white formula gloss is basically the same

3．Application and Dosage 

l Mix with other components in the recipe in a high speed mixer and extruder

l The dosage should be 1-4.5% of the total weight of the formula

4．Packaging and storage

l Packed in polyethylene lined kraft paper bags of 25 kg net each

l Store in a cool and dry place to avoid moisture absorption. Seal immediately after use to avoid contamination

l Less than 35℃ storage temperature this product is effective for at least two years
