QR8011 is a kind of non-reactive physical matting agent modified by polyethylene wax and synthesized by special process. It is a matting agent specially developed for outdoor weather-resistant polyester /TGIC powder coating to provide 25-70%(60°) gloss and excellent leveling of the coating surface. This product is also suitable for preparation of all other types of matte powder coatings.

l Excellent fluid and mechanical properties

l When used in polyester /TGIC system, low gloss of about 25% can be obtained without affecting other properties of coating

l Used in pure epoxy or epoxy/polyester systems to provide a good appearance and non-yellowing semi-gloss coating

l If an appropriate amount of accelerator/catalyst (imidazole or amine compound) is chosen to be added to the formulation to improve the impact resistance, it may lead to a decrease in leveling and a rise in gloss

l It is not recommended to apply to polyester /HAA system

3．Application and Dosage 

Mix with other components of the formula in a high speed mixer and extrude with 1-3.5% of the total weight of the formula

4．Packaging and Storage

l Packed in polyethylene lined kraft paper bags of 25 kg net each

l Store in a cool and dry place to avoid moisture absorption. Seal immediately after use to avoid contamination

l Less than 35℃ storage temperature this product is effective for at least two years
