QR7015 is a special additive specially designed for powder coating of metal effect, which can effectively prevent the adhesion and agglomeration of powder particles in bunding process, greatly increase the bunding process temperature, and significantly improve the bonding performance of metal pigment and powder particles. Applicable to pure polyester, pure epoxy, polyester/epoxy and other all metal effect powder coating system, to reduce the amount of metal and improve the metal effect of coating.

Usage and Dosage

l Using "active heating" (such as electric heating, water or oil bath heating) binding equipment, usage is as follows: moderate QR7015 with powder in thermal mixing cylinder at the same time, stirring under heating temperature to 65 ℃ or so, reduce the stirring speed, add metallic pigment powder, keep slow mixing, control at about 65 ℃ temperature state fixed 15 to 25 min, feeding and cooling mixing cylinder, slow stirring, fast cooling below 35 ℃, the powder system flow mixed with additives, feeding, sieving

l Dependend equipments, usage of friction heat are as follows: add powder in thermal mixing cylinder, high speed stirring up to 50 ℃ or so, add QR7015, and continue to stir up to 60 ℃ or so, add metal powder, continue to stir up to about 65 ℃, open cooling system, feeding and cooling mixing cylinder, rapid cooling below 35 ℃, the powder system flow mixed with additives, feeding, sieving

l The recommended dosage is 0.8-1.5% of the total weight of the formula, depending on the amount of metal pigment used and the desired coating metal effect

Packaging and Storage

l Packed in polyethylene lined kraft paper bags of 20/25 kg net each

l Store in a cool and dry place to avoid moisture absorption. Seal immediately after use to avoid contamination

l Less than 35℃ storage temperature this product is effective for at least two years
